Stormy beach 🖤🌊 It's been a few days of stormy weather and it finally stopped raining today so I had to see her.

The storms reveal the pollution problem though. I'm always shocked when I see people throw recyclables in the regular trash. And people just litter like it's their job. All I can guess is there's no concept of what happens to trash once they are done with it. Well, here it is...

I never leave without meeting a new friend. This boy was injured. I almost called to let the rangers know but I know what they'll do. People here treat everything like it's trash.

It doesn’t seem you experienced the beach erosion that other places suffered. As usual, there have to be the slobs that don’t care and we have to endure nature being spoiled for those of us that appreciate it. Our neighborhood is like your deer encounter, they have become used to those who can whisper to them. Love that you videoed that connection as it made my day.

Ditto!

Ms. Fox's posts are quite simply magical, extraordinary and light filled and even if they tear at your soul and heart, we are spellbound, enraptured: We FEEL her across the thousands of miles and space, at least, I do :D <3

@SageWanderer it's a unique little area here...

You can see Jersey. It's protected from the full impact of ocean storms. Lots of bay areas too. So there's lots of flooding and erosion over the fall/winter, then they dredge in the spring.

The deer here are much less skittish in the park, but they also know I have no ill intentions, like most, we're simply admiring. Plus I don't want to get those antlers lol

@ScreamingFox I see what you mean having protection due to the topography in your area.

As for the deer, and other nature you encounter to be it’s obvious your are connected to the Earth. You are one with nature.

It’s a beautiful beach regardless. Of course wish people would take better care of it. I could go for a cloudy empty beach day.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@SpectralMourning it was wonderful
Of course, you had to, she is part of you,
especially, as you are a crab.

I am so grateful for you sharing your incredible moments,
and the deer: So precious!!!

Amazing how close it allowed you to get.
Deer whisperer 😉.

And I agree with you 100%. People are slobs.
Take out whatever you take in and use your trash at home !!!

Amazing, I love it!

Lovely atmosphere, but always sad to see an injured animal. Nature is not sentimental, though.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@FreddieUK no it's not, and he was getting around, so I wished him luck

Awwww. So pretty. I pick up garbage that people left on the side of the road in Bryce Canyon. Some have no respect.
Lugwho · 61-69, M
My favourite beach weather
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@Lugwho very peaceful
I gave up trying to get people to care about what they do with their trash. It's hopeless.

The deer is beautiful
