@daddybloke @Hotchocolatezebra the beaches are free to use however some of them the council put roads, bins, car parking areas to improve acess to all those ones are still free to walk or cycle on but when the beach is the type you can drive along and park they charge for car parking
Lol no maybe for parking 🅿 at the beach but not to access the beach itself unless it’s private property of a place to stay accessible to the guests only.
Only other reason we’d pay to go to a beach is if we travel to a warmer country for sun sea and sand at a colder time of year for U.K.
Beaches are free, but our rivers and seas are open sewers as our ruling Conservative party allowed the water companies to literally pour raw sewerage into them through overflow pipes for the last 15 years. So the UK now has the most polluted waters in Europe. Enjoy! 💦
@MandyMitchell Why would my cousin tell me that going to the beach in the UK is expensive? She lives there and knows I wouldn't have known even if she lied to me. Only she doesn't know I have friends from across the globe on SW 😄.
[@Hotchocolatezebra its expensive if you don't take your own Water, food, bucket's and shovel's, hot drinks in a thermos flask, cold drinks in a cooler, forget a swimsuit, forget a beach towel or Blanket, if your buying Ice creams, sun lotion apart from those its a cheep day out
@Northerner My cousin said y'all pay to go to public beaches in the UK. She lives there but I found it hard to believe. She kept trying to convince me but nope I refused.
