@mooncrest02 🤔must be a pollution or man made problem as in the united kingdom we have had the same issue with water quality at some of the beaches of our seaside resorts and advice not too go into the water

And now I have another reason to never go to the beach live so close to!

I love living just a mile from the ocean, but feel exactly zero inclination to ever actually go to the beach, lol

Lots of fresh water spots have become dangerous due to infestation of various kinds of amoebae, too. It's sad. Have to be very careful where you swim these days, and do your best not to get any water up your nose or in your mouth.
