Where do you prefer to dip? [I Like to Skinny Dip]

@SweetMae yep that is a lovely spot especially with the top of the weir to jump off. Can be bit busy though

@Kerrmit84 No. I often just soak in my tub when it's too hot

@Kerrmit84 Non. I don't go like I once did. My sister and I used to go often.

@Repete My problem too. I expend so much energy trying to keep on top of the water I can't sustain it for long. I tried taking swimming-lessons, always along the pool not across it because that would be in everyone else's way. I made hardly any progress though and eventually just had to give up.

I stayed in the side lane where I could stop and rest, using a little ledge to stand on. The middle lanes were occupied by various improvers who could swim complete lengths. The far two or three lanes were usually busy with several men who were all very fast swimmers able to do fancy things like somersault turns at the deep end and gliding a long way back underwater. They might have entered swimming competitions elsewhere, but these sessions were not competitive.

It was all rather like a little club, all very friendly, and on the last session before Christmas we stopped swimming early to enjoy a little buffet together.

@ArishMell my swim test was in the Marine Corps boot camp 😂. I made it but they probably wouldn’t recommend me as a lifeguard at a small pool.

@Repete I doubt I'd make the first day, let alone any swimming tests!

@FreeSpirit1 calm peaceful and refreshing. Love finding a quiet bit of a lake ideally with a jetty, do you peefer to jump in oe wade in?

@Kerrmit84 Sure. I will often jump in on a dare though, warm or cold.
I love to swim.

@rottenrobi lol, nothing like a spontaneous swim, had a few of those on random spots found while out running or walking

I live in Maine, USA. Really close to Canada. In the summers we have a few months that it’s not bad .@Kerrmit84

@Kerrmit84 The ocean / sea is a couple hour drive and I like it best .. but am ok taking advantage of the opportunities when a good spot is available

@Stillwaiting exactly! You have to make the most of spontaneous swim opportunity when they arise
