It's interesting to me because open nudity among people of all ages is far from normal here, and I am curious about how it is experienced by kids going through puberty.

Part of me thinks that exposure over the years has taken away the..."spicy" addition of it being sort of "taboo" to simply see others nude; so I'd guess that having ALREADY seen most "everything" helps to fill in several of the blanks and take the "edge" off of "needing" to see naked examples of people toward whom you are suddenly finding sexual attraction.

That makes sense as a great pre-exposure to bodies so that kids already have a lot of observed info to give them real, in-person knowledge of the variety of other bodies through life. That's healthy and helpful!

The other part of me wonders how the nudity affects people at the time that their sexual interest in others really switches on/is given a boost in puberty. Having been a teen boy, it was like a switch being flipped which forever changed my perceptions.

And even having seen others naked, I know that I could not have been in a sea of lovely, sexy women of various ages without becoming embarrassingly erect and noticing the others I had seen and seen in a completely new light.

And how girls becoming women handke the same things is also something to wonder about, just as I do regarding boys becoming men.

The time of all that turning on is an important era in our lives. Handling it well would lead to much better-adjusted adults.

So that's why I wondered what happens in your experience of having your own way of being raised and of raising your daughter. You have a personal viewpoint based in experiences completely different from mine.
