As the old saying goes: "If god had meant us to be nude we'd have been born that way!"

fortycreek · M

Benjr134 · M
How often are you nude?
Jenjen200 · 18-21, F
@Benjr134 love skinny dipping
Benjr134 · M
@Jenjen200 some days we would literally go all day. Then we would walk as far as we could naked back home.
Benjr134 · M
@Jenjen200 missed those days. We were innocent and we would explore each other.

But is it a part of nature? If so, why didn't homo sapiens evolve to be able to handle all weather environments? We lost our hair like a million years ago. So nature tells us we should wear clothes. We wouldn't have evolved without it.
But why I don't get is why nudists don't just say they're exhibitionists. Just own it. I don't get the problem.

@Ynotisay
But why I don't get is why nudists don't just say they're exhibitionists. Just own it.
Spot on! They get a thrill doing it.
Who cares in private but there are a number of common sense reasons we should wear clothes in public.. And if it isn't sexual just look at the comments she got here from older men to prove otherwise.
@Ynotisay Let's think of this. Wearing clothes is normal for most of the world. Any place you say is developed is going to be where people wearing clothes is considered normal.

But what about the tribes of people in the Amazon and in Africa and other parts? Whole small communities where clothes is practically unheard of. Would you say all those living in those tribes are getting thrills from another person seeing them? For them, it's just a matter of seeing another person. After all you probably don't get excited seeing a woman's face that's not covered just because it's not covered. And that woman isn't likely excited to have you see it. Even though there are cultures where a woman is made to cover her face.

It's difficult to see because – assuming you grew up in a culture where wearing clothes is normal – you can't fathom how it would be to have grown up without clothes. And maybe even more difficult to imagine how if someone grew up with clothes as normal switched to no clothes as normal, that they would reach the mindset that it's no longer exciting just to see a nude body or to show off their nude body. Again, just like a woman who was required to cover her face. She'd move to a place where she should show her face, she'll eventually not see it as taboo any longer.

@froggtongue OK. But let's think about this. What I said is there are strips of land where clothes aren't necessary for survival. You said in the Amazon and Africa some tribes, (although that's not really true) go unclothed. So you're agreeing with me.
If it's part of nature then human beings would ONLY live in the very confined stretch of earth. Because we would die in most other places on earth. That's a fact.
It's not about "normal" with any societal connotation. It's about evolution and survival of the species. That's inarguable. We lost our body hair BECAUSE of the advent of clothing which allowed us to migrate.
"Natural" and "normal" is what nudists say to support their desire to be nude. It's not. "Natural" requires clothes in most all areas on earth and "normal" is ALL about how societies run.
But if you don't live around the equator make sure to run around nude in the winter. In the rain or snow. Enjoy being "natural." And don't THINK about putting clothes on. Because that's not "normal."
wudifu · 46-50, M
But you have to be comfortable around strangers right
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Only as awkward as society is willing to make it.

It's the society that makes nudity awkward. See the Zo é tribe of Brazil.

This society will go as far as destroying any culture that promotes nudity or other different values.

Not just nudity with the Zo é.
Wolffy · 56-60, M
Were all born neeked so all good
Ynotisay · M
@Wolffy No. Human beings wear clothes to survive. There's a strip at the equator where clothes might not be necessary..But no where else. As we migrated we lost our hair and adapted. If not, we wouldn't have migrated.
Wolffy · 56-60, M
@Ynotisay bein 3/4 native an 1/4 irish an liv inupper WI......I may need skins over time my body will adujst ....as any others would in time We Adapt
Ynotisay · M
@Wolffy But your body won't adjust. We have limits. There's a very specific region where human beings can live without clothes. Anything under around 45 or 50 degrees without clothes and you would eventually become hypothermic. And when your core temperature reaches around 80 degrees you would die. And it's a shitty way to go. So yeah. You're not special. You're an animal that has evolved to only be able to withstand certain temperatures without clothes.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
Good philosophy. Love to chat with you about it.
kiwibare · 61-69, M

1490wayb · 56-60, M

JRVanguard · 26-30, M
I don’t want people to see my feet😩
I don’t care about the rest of me tbh
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
It's surprising awkward to walk around with a boner even when you're naked, not just when it's caught in your pants.
