Why is being naked so ugly to some here?

It's not the nudity that's ugly, it's the way some go about it. There's classy, then there's trashy.

Could be a trauma response.
Could be their upbringing.
Could be their morals.
Could be they feel they have been violated by having to view it.
Could be they are asexual.
Could be they are dealing with body dysphoria or negative body image.
Could be literally any reason.

They all deserve to be respected.

Some people just believe you’re only supposed to be naked for sexual purposes. So if someone posts a nude it has to mean sex. I’ve posted hundreds of nudes publicly here and for the most part people enjoy them. It’s on the individual to choose to open my posts and if it has the purple nudity tag you’re going to see me naked.

Maybe because it’s so often unsolicited? Not everyone wants to see naked photos, but there sure are a lot of people who want to show them and seem to think others must want to see them.

It isn't the nudity per se, it's the tasteless way it's presented and splatted in your face, with the attitude you're supposed to like it.

Also... if a person enjoys being nude and/or lives that, then why don't they just go live it, why is it this obsessive attitude and behavior on-line?? Because I think it's more than simply being nude, it's a sort of fetish or exhibitionism. Mmhm.

Being naked, is not ugly. I have been to a nude beach several several times and I believe nudity is more freedom from the norm than it is sexual, definitely not ugly

also depends on what country you live in and .. france and a few others have nice beaches where they go naked.. usa has some spots where people gather.. we come in all shape and sizes ..

Depends on person...some people care and some people don't... In some places nudity is tabboo and prohibited as per crowd, their culture and beliefs.. And in some places nudity is fine and its natural..
Example - some beaches and SW allow nudity lol

low confidence, previous body shaming experience, cultural upbringing, it could be many reasons,

the very people worshipping lord and the story of adam and eve will crirticize practice of being naked

I don’t think it is. I mean even if people understandably might not appreciate nudity in an inappropriate setting, they probably just find the individual ugly. There’s some nudity they would like.

Seeing you naked is something to which few would object.

But I've been sent unsolicited nudes, including one of a huge, somewhat shapeless, old woman. That was unwelcome, to me.

Very few people look good in ANYthing and NOthing. You seem to be one of those who do, right now. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Being naked is as natural as it gets. No reason to be ashamed. I find it exhilarating to be seen under the right circumstances. Not gonna run down the street naked, send unrequested dick pics or anything like that. But if someone enjoys sneaking a peek or more, who I am to be bashful, lol

I say they're not able to see the beauty in the human body. But also many who post nudes here don't try to make them look appealing either.
