I've watched porn on websites on my laptop. Unlike years ago, these sites have been relatively free of viruses.
Most of the viruses these days are caused by searches involving celebrities rather than from porn websites.
I've gotten viruses from stories about celebrities and even sports, but not from porn websites (but I'm also not dealing with independent sources, sticking to major sites like PornHub which have anti-virus software).
They have done a good job of preventing viruses on msjor porn sites in recent years.
The websites' anti-virus should work whether you're using a desktop, laptop or cellphone.

@DragonFruit While "reputable" porn sites have better security, they remain vulnerable to malicious software. You may not hve noticed you've been hit, because the malicious code hides its tracks after it gains access to your data.

@Northwest The malicious code must not have been too malicious, as my computer works we and viruses haven't been showing up on searches (either that or they're very indidious and in hiding for a while before taking over).

@DragonFruit That's not really how newer malicious software works. They get the data they're looking for, and will erase themselves.

@Northwest I'll take your word for it...I'm 70 years old and haven't had any problems with it if I have been hit with a virus recently.

@Northwest Exactly, not necessarily anything harmful but containing software that will Track computer activity or may contain annoying adware that will slow your devices activity down. Porn sites are full of these, no matter how reputable.
