how do you know when you're allowed to touch/fondle/caress another adult person in a sexual/erotic/intimate/romantic way?

Are there defined 'signals and signs' that are supposed to be like cues to show you are allowed to approach and get intimate with someone? What do you understand about 'choosing signals' and how they relate to being allowed to get intimate with someone?

Does it vary between singles and couples? Does it vary between unmarried and married couples? Does it change when there are more than two people?

I am definitely the wrong person to ask. All of my experience was as a teenager, and I was a bit slow to pick up on signs. She had to guide me all the way. I'm just glad she didn't give up on me.
This is a slightly worrying post.. I'm sure you have your reasons.

@Mesthartiya I'm not naturally social and feel extremely introverted around other people in particular where attraction is involved. So I feel like I'm not allowed to have intimate/sexual experiences, and have withdrawn from all dating since I feel I'd just stuff it up.

How about asking?
You ask them if it’s okay

@Notladylike Fair call there - consent is vital with any intimate encounter.
