They can't be freed yet. 😂 He hasn't even been inaugurated. The President has the ability to pardon only those who are convicted of federal crimes. Do you know anything about Constitutional law? I learned about it it in grade school. Trump is currently the President elect. Not the President! Perhaps you need to take some remedial courses.

You know, one reason for the Trump win was because of the political weaponization of our DOJ. A smart move by Democrats and the Biden administration would be to immediately free those who are in jail and undo the convictions. Biden has the power to do that. That would go a long way to soothing the great divide.
Another reason is that if they don't, they can expect the Trump administration to go after the Biden administration for targeting Republicans. There is enough evidence brought forward by the House investigation to put some in the Biden administration in serious trouble. Like what the hell went on between Biden, Garland and Mayorkas to open the floodgates at the border, or went on behind the public view about protecting Hunter and lying about the laptop?

@Heartlander I don't think Biden is bright enough to figure that out...and the Democrats in his cabinet and in the DOJ are hate filled drones who won't buck the party line.

@AbbeyRhode Yep. even if one classifies it as an insurrection, those arrested deserve to be treated as prisoners of war and repatriated when the war is over.

@Heartlander On June 10th of this year, he had his first ever parole hearing. No word on the result. He is 79 years old, and in failing health, but he was also convicted of killing two men who were shot in the head at point blank range. Chris Wray of the FBI does not want him to be released.
