Bro literally everyone could vote to get rid of the EC and it wouldn't matter. There's a reason no party entertains it

@UndeadSona I am afraid it requires an amendment, and I can't see the small states allowing that.
UndeadSona · F
@samueltyler2 exactly an amendment that's basically impossible nowadays.
@JonLosAngeles66 it's not just them that gain from it

@BlueGreenGrey How about anytime the Electors don't vote for conservative candidates?
And considering that Democrat meant a different thing at the beginning of last century? Yeah no. 😒
If the EC is so detrimental to the left why aren't they constantly pushing and rallying to destroy it? They have the political capital to drive people into a frenzy over it. Because it's a control mechanism that they all want around. It has always been a Control mechanism to suppress the people as it was intended

@BlueGreenGrey difficult? Yeah it's impossible I literally said so earlier. That doesn't change what I said. So I'm not sure what part of reality I'm denying. Perhaps the part where you think any politician is actually on your side and not just less worse than the other

@UndeadSona it isn't just detrimental to the left. It is counter to the actual concept of one person one vote, and representational government based on population.
