Joe Biden. Biden has so far attended church over 100 times since his inauguration. Next is Jimmy Carter who attended church over 70 times during his four years in office. Trump went to church 14 times during his presidency.

@Convivial reasons vary. I think that very much depends on which president we are speaking about.

@Convivial Several of those he listed, including the one that has went the most Biden, are pretty private about it.
@Convivial public displays make throw red flags to me too.

@Convivial I don't think religion makes anyone "better" unless their life is circling the drain and they get support from a faith community. That wouldn't apply to any of our presidents. In their case I think church attendance is an expression of their inner character. I don't think Trump is a bad guy because he doesn't go to church; he's a bad guy who also doesn't go to church.
