9 PM Eastern time...GOP debate. 8 candidates. Trump will be absent. Who's going to watch?

@Broache73 Most politicians don’t work for you the constituents. They work knowingly or not for those who actually are not, but run the (our ) government.
Those politicians especially the younger ones, some with high ideals are quickly and easily poisoned and either remain or get out.
Those who remain are of the mindset, “ I got mine, you’re on your own!”
That’s my take on government and politicians.

@Broache73 Actually someone...maybe Vivek...mentioned ending the welfare warfare state. I think it was Scott who mentioned firing the 87000 IRS agents and hiring more ICE agents.

@Bumbles It's not about actually GETTING the nomination. It's about 2028 and name recognition. In Pence's case, a couple of jelly brains have formed a Super Pac for him because they think they can control him easily.
