Mike Braun does not represent ALL American politicians, but he does represent the covert racists who elected one of their own.
Reporter to Braun: "So you would be OK with the Supreme Court leaving the question of interracial marriage to the states?”
“Yes,” Braun answered. “I think that that’s something that if you’re not wanting the Supreme Court to weigh in on issues like that, you’re not going to be able to have your cake and eat it too. I think that’s hypocritical.“
He's trying now to walk it back, saying he misunderstood the question. It's one of those Freudian slips, and a clear demonstration of an extremist, trying to argue that SCOTUS should not exist.
He said it, and obviously he meant it. He’s as stupid as a stump either way. And this is a Republican Senator saying it [b]now[/b]. There have been Democrats who have [b]left office[/b] for things they did and said before they even [b]entered[/b] politics. But hold the GOP responsible for stuff they say and do [b]now[/b] and they whine about "cancel culture".
