Agreed. But I suspect there has to be a compromise to keep stores in poorer neighbourhoods economically viable. Not much point in having food stamps if there is nowhere to spend them.

@SunshineGirl Good point. Though I think to be effective policies like that also need education, and I don't what public information is freely and readily available in those areas.
