May is Military appreciation month

We should all appreciate our brave military. Not only do they protect us, and other countries
around the world, but they also produce good, disciplined, hardworking people, that are
an asset to the civilian world.

While there are certainly some good, disciplined, hardworking former service people, there is also a sizeable minority who struggle to adapt to the civilian world and lead utterly chaotic and self-destructive lives. I should know, my late dad was among them.

@DogMan 2 years minimum. Even as an admin clerk or cook if they have no guts to fight. Israel has that and a stronger citizenry.

@MasterLee That would be great, although I would bet that at least 50% of them would break, and probably suffer
PTSD due to basic training.
