Whay will happen, when States run their own schools?

I think it will be much better. It will create competition, which always helps.

It will show what works, and what doesn't. Instead of doing that same thing
over and over, expecting different results.

I think you'll see red states performing leaps and bounds over blue states. A good comparison will be to compare the financial condition of red versus blue states. You can expect the schools to perform in about the same fashion.

@carpediem You can expect Illinois to continue the big flunk. Chicago will NEVER learn.

@carpediem True, but blue state kids will be better versed in the LBGTQ/Trans issues.

@DogMan No question about it

@DogMan I thought the idea of education was to at very least have people that are able to Read, Write and add up as the bare minimum when they left school and with a bit of hope be able to go to further education and make something of their lives.

@Strictmichael75 The Clark County school district in southern Nevada is the 5th largest in the country.

Highest cost per student, but is ranked 48th. We are also a Blue State, with a very Blue school board.

@DogMan seeing the low level of education in the US 10 times zero is still zero

@Strictmichael75 I hear ya. But we have learned that throwing money at it doesn't work, so
it sounds like we need a top-down revamp.
