Should America have

A plan that would cover for another country that wants world domination and has been doing little things for a long time to get them to there final destination point which would mean world domination?

I ask this because this is China following their path to where they would be world dominate. I’m not sure we have a plan to set against a country that already have been doing little things in their plan for twenty years or so.

Why does everyone shit on america and then when something bad globally happens the other countries assume we’re supposed to put our finances on the line to save everybody

No, america should not

@Gloomy i know you didn't state that, but you implied that Empire building is synonymous with slaughter, it isn't - the main impetus behind a trading Island Nation - Great Britain - is to seek out new markets and thus generate wealth

... i'm guessing here, {but i'm probably right} - the only time we stepped in with a 'sword' as opposed to a 'trade deal' was when there was protectionist elements within a Nation - as in "due to your free trade ethos, we can sell to your people, but you can't sell to our people"

I suggest you read, or watch {YouTube} Thomas Sewell - even better, Sargon of Akkad's YouTube video on 'How the British ended Slavery' ... then it will negate a comment by you "cite your evidence"

@BigGuy2 You colonised you did not "seek out new markets". You took land you had no right to and mistreated and exploited its people. 🙄 Also wealth was only generated for planters and slaveholders as well as the motherland. Colonized countries had no say, no freedom and no part of the wealth.
BigGuy2 · 26-30, M
@Gloomy NOPE ... 1st and foremost, it was trading {you yourself have even stated that by saying the 'Motherland'} that was the impetus behind Empire building ... i'm 99% sure that ALL countries we took over, were conquered by other ethnicities before we arrived - again, if you can identify which countries had their original indigenous populations before we took over - but still, even if you can, it doesn't negate why we did what we did does it - AND it doesn't prove your argument, as you're abbrogating the morals of today's society onto the societies of history - if we were enlightened back then as we are now and Slavery {and Empire building} STILL happened, your argument will be accepted
@BigGuy2

The reason slave owners were paid was because like most wealthy people in a capitalist society they can force the government to pay them out for any government policy that even mildly inconveniences them. That was true in the 1830s and is true today.
BigGuy2 · 26-30, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow NOPE ... you site ANY Law whether prior to 1833 or the present day where it states it's OK by the Government - any Government - to seize LEGALLY obtained 'property' {as Slaves were deemed as 'property'} 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

They had to LEGALLY buy the Slaves, THEN set them free

"... pad their wallets..." - so explain the West African Squadron then 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
@BigGuy2 Oh boy. You really are clueless. lol. YOu can't possibly be an adult and be that clueless.

There are plenty of situations and laws the world over where the government can and does seize property. In most cases it literally just requires changing the legal status of that property.

And in some cases even that is not required. Imminent domain is a very common example and there are variations on that around the globe.

The West African Squadron is a totally irrelevant whataboutism.

Your argument is that it was created because it gave the British government warm fuzzy feelings.

It is not worth addressing because it is irrelevant.

And you pretend like it is unusual for new law enforcement organizations to come into existence when anything is made illegal.

First off what you talk about is official DOD policy and called Full Spectrum Dominance and has been official policy for about 20 odd years.

Basically it amounts to making sure only the US can rule the world. And all it takes to get on the bad side of this policy is to have the theoretical ability to challenge US power.

As for China they don't have much interest in a global empire like the US. Americans assume every country thinks like them and acts accordingly.

China is mostly interested in global trade and soft power and there is not really much the US can do about it short of overtly trying to blockade the country and that hasn't worked even against a tiny country like Cuba.

China has even been linked with a company that donated one million dollars to the top high school in America.
The company that has joined with Ford to make the new battery plant in Mich. has also been linked to the cap military the same as tic tok and some universities. There are even illegal China police stations. There keeping up with and bullying China nationals in America. I’m sure there is a lot of other things that they have their hands in. I even have toyed with the thought that they’re somehow connected to these crazy movements we’ve been having.( that part is only a conspiracy theory as of right now. We may find it to be true someday.)
i believe you are going to lose a war with china by design.
youve been sold out and that pesky constitution that keeps getting in their way will be torn up..
America already has a large number of mutual defense treaties with friendly nations. There's even a treaty with Russia and Ukraine.
