Lord,
Today we remember the souls lost 84 years ago at Pearl Harbor. Receive them into Your eternal peace, and comfort the families and survivors who still carry the weight of that day.
Grant our nation wisdom, unity, and a deep desire for peace.
May their sacrifice never be forgotten.
Amen.

I'd rather take a minute to thank the more than two point five million conscientious objectors who stayed in containment camps during the war. They at least tried!

We were in Oahu during the Dec 7 celebration. It was very cool.

I remember when they invited Pearl Harbour veterans as advisors when they made the film, and when the veterans said “that isn’t what happened” they film makers flew them home and did it anyway.
Disrespectful and a bloody awful film.

While you're at it, don't forget to mention the US being the first and only Nation in the world to ever use atomic bombs on civilian populations which of course was in retaliation for Japan bombing a bunch of US Navy ships that were parked in Pearl Harbor.
3 US Navy ships were destroyed while 18 others were damaged and later returned to service, which means the US Navy only lost 3 ships during that entire attack on Pearl Harbor and those ships were parked at the time with virtually nobody on them.
On the other hand, 246,000 Japanese civilians were killed from the atomic bombs the US dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki following that Pearl Harbor incident.
Who exactly are you suggesting that we take a moment to remember 84 years ago as you so arrogantly cloak yourself with that hideous American flag, dude?
