Neither the SAS airline, nor the SAS British military branch existed during WWII.

So this would be a fantastical story.

@Northwest You are incorrect.

The SAS were formed in July 1941 and this took place in 1943.

@WintaTheAngle Yes, you're right. I mistook their as a corps i 1950 from their initial 1941 creation as a regiment.
