Army General Stanley McChrystal speaks with ramifications to current events
General Stanley McChrystal resigned his commission to President Obama (there is a YouTube video currently posted where he recites his resignation story) and President Obama accepted it.
Gen McChrystal was the Commander in Afghanistan at that time. While my last deployment was under his command, I never personally met him. I am not familiar with his politics, but I suspect he is pretty apolitical.
Here he speaks about the dangers in our country today vs during the Cold War. I think if you listen with an open mind to his well thought out comments you will get an understanding why the meeting that Putin had with tRUMP at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska was so dangerous and poorly conceived/executed.
