Go back to Indian independence in 1947, Ghandi preached sit downs, Nehru preached violence, Kashmir became the buffer they both fought for since.

@cherokeepatti I have a former coworker in Delaware from India near the Kashmir region, his parents brought him and his siblings to the States under political asylum because when they were little kids the village next to them were massacred by muslims that lived on the other side of the border, this was in the late 70's. He said it's still a common occurance today.
