The Ukrainian Forces are destroying Russia. Russia’s casualties have been so very high, much more than Ukraine. trump and putin have a relationship that neither one wants to disclose. The ONLY asset putin has is trump. Even China has placed financial sanctions on Russia. trump was FORCED to recant his statement that the invasion was Ukraine’s fault. I mean how ignorant was that. Republican Senators forced trump to recant that statement by contradicting it on the news media.
@Pfuzylogic You are correct with casualties. But Russia still win, around 18% - 20% ukraine lands now is in Russia's hand. Unlikely ukraine will take it back, except Russia have a second disaster, like uni-sovyet in the past, which perhaps what the West wants. But that will takes time.
@dubum russian gains has been possible because they aren’t limited in attacking hospitals, elementary schools and playgrounds and at first they used released criminals that raped the women. Ukraine has not acted in equal retaliation. They are starting to send drones deep into russia’s oil fields. That might be an effective short term strategy by destroying their economy. At least they aren’t committing war crimes.
Does democracy not matter? For Ukrainians to feel betrayed, they would be believing USA, regardless of its leadership, is compelled to keep enabling their deaths on the battlefield. USA is not obliged to keep making them blow themselves up. People are put away when they try to commit suicide; the state steps in and tells their families they need to go into mental hospital. Trump is doing what the state does when we try to destroy ourselves. If he kept sending aid to Ukraine, there would no Ukrainian men left. Why do you want to aid this suicide mission?
I think people are wondering, after three years, where it’s going. It’s a stalemate. Is there really any way to win it? So do we just keep pouring money and arms into the war?
