@goodlil666 Hamas and Hezbollah do not pose an existential threat to Israel. Israel's response is entirely disproportionate. They are not interested in freeing the hostages, because Netanyahu knows that once they are freed there is no more justification for the war, and he will then have to face the electorate. He relies on the support of Ben-Gvir, who wants the extermination of the Palestinian race. Netanyahu has no choice but to comply. Hence the genocide.

America is renowned for saying one thing while politically doing the complete opposite.
Especially when it comes to what's laughingly referred to as foreign policy.
It suits to make noises that suggest 'condemnation ' for the aggressor, while hapilly supplying both sides with the required armaments....for a price.
And while all that's going on nobody's standing up for the hostages.
That should be the focus for the outrage.

@Mesthartiya Not blase in the least, but the reality of war tends to be horrible. And there will be no peace in the Middle East as long as the Arab nations/factions promote the concept of destroying Israel. Israel is no angel in its actions, but consider what the US would have done if some terrorist group had invaded us and killed, raped, and kidnapped a few thousand of our citizens. Hell, look at what we did to Iraq with no reason. War is horrible, always has been and always will be.
