Why do you want troops entering Russia to have more weapons? Aren't they supposed to be defending their country? Ukrainian troops in eastern Ukraine need help, and they need it now. They are losing two important Ukrainian cities.

@emiliya I want the Ukrainian troops fighting inside Russia to have the best weapons available. That means having US made weapons.

@JSul3 They do have US made weapons in Kursk.

While their troops are struggling and dying in Donbas, the others are in Russia on a PR exercise or a Zelenskyy suicide mission, not defending their territories in Ukraine.

@emiliya According to what Sec. of Defense Lloyd Austin has said in the last few days, he refuses to allow US weapons to be used inside of Russia.

Take that as you so choose. Ukraine has taken approx. 500 sq miles of territory inside Russia.

I sent letters to both Biden and Harris demanding they allow any weapons necessary to defeat Putin....inside Russia.

@JSul3 US says there is a restriction on American supplied long range missiles being used in Russia, but short range missiles and all other weapons provided to Ukraine from US are being used.

Long range missiles are already sent into Russia, but apparently it can only be for “defense” when they are supplied by US and UK.

What you are desiring is vengeance, not justice. Is vengeance what we ought to pursue?

Russians are not going to unite against Putin. Furthermore, if pushed too far, any leader of a nation with nuclear weapons may be compelled to use them.

Vengeance? Putin began this war. If he dares step outside of Russia, I hope he is quickly arrested and charged with war crimes. That would be justice.

@JSul3 It may not be the end. Civilization could continue in countries not affected by nuclear. It is still a dark thought, and I would prefer westerners to not be so cavalier about it. As a westerner who is neither from Ukraine nor Russia, this war should not be worth the potential of escalation to you. Why are some of you Americans so invested in Ukraine?

Putin does step outside of Russia. He is visiting Mongolia this week, and they will not be arresting him.
