Does Iran matter?

Israel says Iran wants to destroy it. This is being used as justification for military action and possible war, which could have devastating consequences. Iran lacks the capability to destroy Israel, so why doesn't Israel ignore Iran and leave it alone?

Might it possibly be because the ruling ayatollahs in Iran won't leave Israel alone...? 🤔

@Thinkerbell Does Israel leave Iran alone?

Yes it does... except when the Iranian ayatollahs and their Islamic Revolutionary Guard sponsor direct and indirect terrorism against Israel.

@Thinkerbell Why do you think they sponsor this terrorism? Iran and Israel are both party to hostile engagements. Israel has engaged in covert operations and assassinated Iranians. Do you think they want Iran to be free to do as it wishes? They want an Iran that will be less powerful, and an Iran that will appease them.

I think the ayatollahs sponsor this terrorism because they would like to eliminate the "Little Satan" from the river to the sea.
Failing in that, they will cause as much terror in Israel as they possibly can.

And the Iranians that Israel has covertly assassinated have been people in leadership positions that posed direct tactical or strategic threats to Israel.

@Thinkerbell Does the world revolve around Israel?

Why do you justify assassination?
