Doubtful. Ukraine is in trouble and not just because of the war. The country is slowly imploding. Zelensky is in a power struggle with the head of his armed forces and corruption still runs rampant. Former ministers in his government calling him a dictator openly, banning political rivals from traveling abroad. It is a mess.
And Georgia was further along towards NATO membership and the US was not willing to start WW3 over them. Now the Georgian president is wanted in his own country and was installed as a governor in Ukraine (Odessa if I remember correctly).
