No, as long as Russia stays within the Ukrainian border, NATO will not act. Once Russia leaves, then Ukraine [i]may[/i] get approval to join NATO and only then will it fall under the protection of NATO. NATO Countries will supply Ukraine with weapons to fight Russia but they won't attack Russia directly now.

@spjennifer Yup - despite the nonsense spouted by putin, NATO is a purely defensive organisation.
If the russians bring their genocidal behaviour to a NATO member they'll get a very severe reminder that they're a Potemkin country with an army that's a global joke.

@newjaninev2 Sometimes I wonder if Poteen realizes just how much total might NATO has as an organization, they would be crushed pretty quickly should they tangle with NATO.
