It is curious how easily people will let themselves be manipulated, providing it sits comfortably in their existing bias.

Hamas’s plan is working: Kill hundreds of Israelis at random, knowing full well the Israeli military will over react and kill Palestinians in return, thus outraging the western world, but apparently not other Arab countries, thus reducing Israel’s international support and eventual rendering them weaker. Neither side cares how many civilians need to die to achieve their ends.

In Ireland people chose neither to forgive or forget, but to end the cycle of violence. And as fragile as it is, it’s lasting. But Israelis and Palestinians don’t want peace. They deserve each other.
I hope you know you've been manipulated as well

@GoToTheCompound For dancing between neutral and apathetic? Possibly.

The situation in Ireland was different. It was violence based on sectarianism. None of them, Irish Republicans nor Loyalists, were penned into a narrow tract of land and denied basic rights by a stronger force. It's a false equivalence.

@Richard65 Thank you for your opinion.
We might have things to learn from their peace process but Ireland is not quite the same as Palestine.
Neither side cares how many civilians need to die to achieve their ends. Least of all, Hamas.

Peace makes sense, people with flat screens refuse. Okay. Whatever. It's okay to hate the earth.

Yet more ignorance.

@sascha I don’t require your agreement.
