I dont get why people that live in prosperous western countries like USA,UK,Europe etc all get their knickers in knot because of some regional conflict that really has no effect on them.Let them get on with it.The harder a war is fought,the sooner its over.

@wonkywinky I hear you but there are some pretty valid reasons. Sometimes people get involved because they want a world without ideological/religious wars and the deaths of innocent people. And there's a lot of Palestinians and Israeli's living where you mentioned. And I'm not sure about the EU but the U.S. provides a whole lot money to Israel. It's also the lone Democracy in the region and that has implications. So while people aren't there physically a lot still have some skin in the game. But there's an enormous difference between being in the middle of something and standing on the sidelines many miles away.
