@Thinkerbell Where did you get the idea that Russia has such a small economy? It was a member of the G8 not many years ago and has grown ever since.

@Thinkerbell The 'dollar' volume of an economy is not a very good measure of the economy. There are much better metrics. Such as purchasing power for money obtained. Lets be serious if you made $100,000.00 per year but the cost of living was $120,000.00 per year your standard of living would not be worth much. Russia now has one of the highest valued currency in the world and the purchasing power of the ruble is greater than that of the US dollar.
