It’s not a mistake. Finland joining NATO is the right decision. NATO is a European community alliance which means Finland when Finland becomes a NATO member it will be required to commit resources to any other NATO member country that comes under attack and alternatively it will receive resources from the NATO community if it ever gets attacked.
