Behind the scenes in Putins stage managed dinner with pro Putin mothers

Putin told the dozen or so Russian mothers that he felt their pain of losing their sons on the battle field of the Ukraine.
What he left out of the stage managed meeting was that their sons had not been trained, were poorly equipped, had no medical supplies, were used as cannon fodder and would have been arrested and thrown in jail fir Treason against Mother Russia if they had refused the call up for compulsory military service to the Russian Motherland.

According to Putin they died as heroes which is probably better than being jailed for treason and left to rot in a Russian Gulag.

@Nanori Yup, Iran is very particular about women wearing headscarves. Failure to do so will result in death.

The ‘mothers’ have been identified as either actresses, or members of putin’s administration.

The woman holding up a photo of her dead husband says he died recently in Ukraine. In fact, he died elsewhere in 2019

russia has lost their war in Ukraine, and is becoming increasingly desperate as the full ramifications of its barbarism start to become clear.
I remember in the 60s as our nation was torn over the Viet Nam war , the Smothers brother on their Sunday night show paid a Mother’s Day tribute to the Mothers who had lost sons and daughters fighting in the war both American and Viet Namese, North and South .

@soar2newhighs One difference with the Vietnam war was that although the American public didn’t support it, America never actually invaded Vietnam to start it.
@justanothername I would say , look at the Gulf of Tonkin incident. That opened the Pandora’s box for our involvement . No, technically we did not invade Viet-Nan (South)

If these mothers still support Putin, no one should lament their loss ... they should be shipped off to the battlefield too, maybe they can explain to people in Kherson why apartment blocks are being struck after the Russian ground troops retreat
