Found letters from a family member from the trenches of France.
A family member from down south sent pictures of the letters. Hastily written by a great great uncle of mine on dirty paper. Not really glorious snippets of WW1 but little passages that can just be made out, “arrived in Inchy” and “entrenched for 6 hours”, “we had to run for our lives” and “we lost 50”. One letter ends simply with “too tired to write any more”.
