My, how far they've come?

Bernie Sanders spent his entire career Being anti war but just voted to send 40 billion to weapons manufacturers in Ukraine.

But nary a word about the larger issues at home (baby formula for example)?

It took an entire career to become the thing his younger self would have despised, a war profiteering sell out.

Intentionally or not, you are totally misrepresenting Bernie Sanders' stance on war. He is NOT a "turn the other cheek" total pacifist. He lost much of his family in the Holocaust and he never suggested we shouldn't fight a tyrant like Hitler. Bernie opposed wars of choice like Vietnam and Iraq, and he was in good company doing so.

And now we face another tyrant that Bernie says we should oppose. I find him agreeably consistent. Meanwhile, your brand new account looks like a troll account. Does Putin pay you in toilet paper rubles, comrade?

@ElwoodBlues - Does Zelensky pay you? Stop being a child. Bernie the millionaire with 3(+) houses is entitled to all the profit he earns and he has a right to shuck and jive for the big weapons manufacturers in the USA. That's his right. I'm not begrudging that. I just wish he would hustle for the needy folks at home too?

DUUUDE!!! Putin is the guy with billions in offshore accounts in the name of "friends," LOL!!!

Your strawman argument against Bernie is risible. Stop being a child.

@ElwoodBlues - Child supporter of Bernie Sanders eh'? American tax dollars need to go first to America, then to those who need it elsewhere and typically, ideally not to making wars elsewhere. Let the rich Europeans help Zelensky more. That's their backyard afterall. And if they need more, I guess generous supporters like you can foot the bill for a cause you truly believe in?
Ynotisay · M
@Yetti American tax dollars do go to America first. But America isn't just defined by borders. It's defined by global partnerships. If you think is a "neighborhood" issue, or "making wars," I'm not sure you're taking a very deep dive in to what this all means.
Yetti · 51-55, M
@Ynotisay - partnerships start at home. If you have extra then spend the extra elsewhere. I am aware of the myriad of global partnerships, treaties, geopolitically important arrangements, etc, etc, but... when times get tough and resources get scarce, how damn important is it to give billions for a war the Ukrainians are fighting far, far away? Let the Europeans step up. How about we sell them the weapons in a lend/lease deal? That's far more responsible.
Ynotisay · M
@Yetti Who said resources are scarce? Or that the Europeans aren't stepping up? You do recognize the ramifications for the U.S. if Russia was to be successful, right? If you have an issue with this you might want to point the blame squarely where it belongs. And it's not the U.S., NATO or Europe.

@Ynotisay - study the Cuban missile crisis. I think you will know where I am going afterwards.
@Yetti So you are an appeaser.

How'd that work out for controlling Hitler?
@Yetti
study the Cuban missile crisis. I think you will know where I am going afterwards.
To ask Moskva which talking points to use, next?
@Yetti
Child supporter of Bernie Sanders eh'?
WRONG!!!
I never voted for Bernie in any election. I had a different choice in the primary and I donated elsewhere too. Sorry, I just don't fit into your little pigeon holes.
Yetti · 51-55, M
@SomeMichGuy - How'd that work out for Mao? Hint: he killed many, many more millions of innocents than Hitler and I do not support either. Now how did it feel to get a totally absurd accusation slapped back across your face? Come back when you're ready to adult ok? Trump Derangement Syndrome is a curable condition believe it or not?
Yetti · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues - and here I am, still not caring 😂
@Yetti - and here I am, still calling you on your bulllshit 😂

@ElwoodBlues - it's good to have a cause 🤗

@Yetti Sadly Stalin's and Hitler's and Mao's mass murder come from the same root. What's more that root is not dead and gone. It is alive and living in the philosophy of people like wormwood - er - elwoodblues

@Yetti
how damn important is it
Very, very, damn important.

The lying, murderous, autocrat putin invaded a sovereign democracy, and his barbarians then set about murdering men, women, children, and babies, while his orcs targeted schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings.

The neurotic putin has destroyed russia, turned it into a global pariah, expanded NATO... all to build the immense wealth he and his gangster cronies controlled.

I say controlled because there are superyachts (including putin’s), bank deposits, property, etc., now frozen, and about to be used to finance Ukraine’s fight against the barbarians.

Иди на хуй, россия

Слава Україні!
