No not at all. But we have given them the wrong impression that they are still victims.
For example women want representation in politics, business and sports. But rarely is it construction, sanitation, infrastructure and all the other very necessary jobs they don’t fancy.
Both genders must have both equal measures of freedom and responsibility.
In Ancient Times, it was WOMEN who held all the power...harking back to the days of the Great Goddess. Snakes and so on...heavy stuff!!! Men worshipped the goddess by fornicating with her priestesses!

ALL lesser gods and goddesses were overthrown. Until Amenhotep died, that is.
Judaism similar to that which we know today derived from Amenhotep's one God, and the Patriarchal structure of religion began to be more common. In early Judaism...there was a goddess...but today she is largely ignored...just as women were largely ignored and relegated to the status of cattle in ancient Judea.
