An interesting take on NATO
Serbia and Kosovo are having issues and NATO is involved. I listened to a Serb on youtube who said that NATO's stated aim was to re-establish the old Roman Empire. Not exactly sure how to take that.

The simplest way to take that Serb's idea is to laugh at it for being so silly - but it would be as well to try to understand as well as any of us not living in his region can, why he might have said it.
It is a region with ancient feuds, and the attitudes behind them will not evaporate overnight, but only its own inhabitants can get over that history and learn to live peaceably with each other.

the serbians invaded my son's country. they had a quick remedy. they marched them out by gun to the train station. wonder how he is feeling now with Russia nearing his doorstep.

@akindheart From what I have heard more of them are upset about the American NATO interference than the fear of Russia. Russia isn't going to invade without American/NATO provocation. They are busy defeating the US/NATO in Ukraine at the moment. Again they were provoked by the US/NATO. Not sure why the Trotskyite Neuland has been able to keep her job but where ever there is a US war she has a major role in it. She should be run out of town and never allowed near the levers of power again.

@akindheart I love Americans but I am trying figure out why their government is constantly starting silly wars. Can you explain Libya? I think I have an idea but still what was the long term benefit of it.
