In what respect?
I would imagine the news in the USA presently to be dominated by the looming Presidential election there, and by Israel and the Ukraine, so coverage of other countries' problems not directly affecting the USA is likely to be thin.
As it happens the BBC covers those too: the two wars understandably but it has far more interest in the US elections than really necessary - what will matter to the UK and other nations is the outcome and consequent US foreign policies.
Though to be fair it probably has a sizeable American audience for those matters!

The new government has clamped down quickly on rioters and are publicising their jail sentences, so troublemakers (on both sides) are realizing they're not going to get away with it.
More notably, anti-riot protesters have come out in large numbers in targeted towns across the country, holding peaceful vigils to protect migrant hostels and minority community businesses. This combination of factors seems to be keeping the peace🤞

They just covered it on the CBC news, I think.

I don't think they're avoiding the subject.
Im in London. We've been relatively unaffected by any kind of riots. My friend is originally from Southport and went to visit family last week - booked pre the stabbings - and has said it's incredibly sad and unsettled.
