To those who want to blame Biden exclusively for inflation, not taking into account the former administration, covid consequences, and y'know,

economics as a WHOLE...

Consider an inside scoop example of what corporate greed LOOKS like, and how SNEAKY it is. It isn't just that I have to pay 6 bucks for a party sized bag of shrinkflated chips....

It is the fact that BlueCross Blue Shield decided to misroute thousands upon thousands of claims due to the changing of their "alpha prefixes" (3 digits at the beginning of the subscriber id).

If you call that insurance carrier, you have to call different numbers depending on the area and prefix. You have to have a set number of claims to discuss. If something diverges in any way from the norm, you are transferred to a different person.

Instead of CORRECTING THE MISROUTES, they are making billers all over the landdd figure out how to map these prefixes..then rebill all these claims.

There is a "timely filing" guideline that MUST be met in order for a claim to even pre-qualify for review. If you are OUTSIDE of that guideline, badda boom, badda bing..claim doesn't get paid..and BCBS lines their pockets.

On the other side, they hold out their grubby lil hands for higher premium payments from consumers who already struggle to buy..chips.

This is somehow reminiscent of Nancy Reagan's D.A.R.E. program while her hubby positively BOMBARDED the streets with crack, mostly in disenfranchised neighborhoods.

This, in turn, allowed white people to say, "look at those uneducated hoodlums"...then..fill the private prison system with them, thereby..PERPETUATING SLAVERY.

...then have the audacious caucasity to clutch pearls when they rise up during BLM???...

I am digressing. Just know: 2, 3 birds are getting stoned by corporations at ALL times, and the government IS a corporation.

One hand in their lined pockets, one hand held out for more.

A big deal of the inflation is to blame on the war Russia is fighting in Europe, and has not so much to do with two old idiots in the USA, besides the fact that Putin can confidentally perform this act because his friend is Trump. The economy peaked in 2016 till 2020 worldwide, so that was not an achievement of Trump, but he never reserved money to make the economy strong to take a hit, that administration did nothing for America only for themselves. When exactly started America working on it's oldfashioned infrastructure, an act to make a country futureproof?

@Thewhazzupdude just like my job. there is NO forward thinking. He thinks he is going to live forever..what a void of a life.

Agree with what you say

Also, in Britain, we've experienced worse inflation than America.

It makes no sense to blame and incumbent leader for an economic problem unless you have a clear line of causality.

Economics is subject to international factors and long term trends. American inflation is consistent with that and not linked to any Biden policy.

@Burnley123 amen..and the hilarious thing is that trump's tax policy doesnt run out for years..but they say that biden changed it all and is "printing money" bahaha

Good post. Inflation was global mainly due to Covid and in the US it’s gone down faster than any other industrialized nation.

If one’s top priority is inflation they should not be voting for Trump. Deporting 20 million people, many of whom work in the food production industry, plus slapping a 10% tariff on everything is sure to make prices go down 🙄

this is exactly where Capitalism was going to take us anyway, we just got there quicker than planned

@RoxClymer so true bestie
Yes, some of the best economist have looked at both Biden's and Trump's economic plans and to simplify them, basically both crazily raise the debts and inflation.

So there is no main stream choice for fiscal conservative and helping the debt and inflation.

When the US Fed pumps out money to cover Congress's wild spending..... Inflation is the result.
