Since we in an inflation cycle at present corporate CEOs should take a cut their huge salaries

"According to Statista, a survey of CEO pay in 2017 found U.S. executives with a substantial lead over CEOs in other countries. The average CEO compensation packages at large public companies is $14.25 million in the United States"

Since ordinary people are getting hit with higher prices for food, gasoline and other goods, corporate CEOs should take a cut their huge salaries.

Since ordinary people are getting hit with higher prices for food, gasoline and other goods, corporate CEOs should take a cut their huge salaries.

And, how does that help anything?

When inflation is too high, the Federal Reserve typically raises interest rates to slow the economy and bring inflation down. And stop stupid spending.

Dems screwed us good this time. It's going to take a republican administration a good long time to fix what the dems have done.

That was breathtakingly stupid

Those CEOs sign the political contribution checks

If you take a close look at the inflation, and the specific things studied that are included, all but one have one thing in common...fuel costs. Eggs went up, because they need to be transported, etc. Big oil is on track to earn 300% more than last year!

@samueltyler2 Sure. That's why rheir stocks have fallen.

Don't these moonbats EVER out think out what they are blathering?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Slade you do realize the stock market is a poor indication of company activity. The market is a "legalized" pozie scheme.

Different faces, same story across the globe. Hope we'll survive this as well 🤞

Why do you care what other people make?
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
@sunsporter1649 Corporations are charging us consumers more for their products. Maybe if their CEO's weren't getting tens of millions in compensation, plus tax cuts plus stashing their money in off-shore tax havens, maybe their products would cost less.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@badminton So CEO's are supposed to operate their corporations at a loss?
