People resist the Idea of God.. As long as they do then they can never come to any assurence in any answer they come up with in regard to the big questions..

@Pambie
There's also the story in Genesis where "God" is asking Adam, "Where are you?" after Adam hides from God as he's "walking during the cool of the day".

God asked that after Adam ate from the tree of knowledge. It is like man asking woman where she is and with whom. He knows the answer.

@emiliya I think it's pretty clear from the context of the story that "God" just didn't know where Adam was. Why would Adam think he could hide from God anyway? Obviously he didn't believe that this God at least was omniscient.

I used to need answers. Now I'm more interested in the questions themselves and who I'm becoming by asking them.😊

@DelightfulyDelectablyDelicious Now THAT is a great approach to have! 💙

@DelightfulyDelectablyDelicious What is the point of that?
Pambie · 26-30, F
@emiliya Well, for starters, the kind of questions a person asks reveals a lot about the type of person they happen to be, and it's always helpful to know oneself better.

People are just animals. It’s sheer ego that we think we are here for a purpose.

I’m just doing me thing and going happily about it. Good company, good food and drink, adventures and memories.

Everyone dies, not everyone lives.

@AdmiralPrune Except we're so much more than "just animals". Animals can't plan for the future, be optimistic, have a moral code, override their instincts, ponder the nature of reality, or do any of the other things that set mankind way above the "animal kingdom".
