@Adstar Hebrews says conviction in things not seen. You actually quoted that, so let's break it down. Conviction is faith - in things not seen means without evidence! Conviction in things not seen means belief without evidence, it aligns with the traditional dictionary definition. You say yourself that faith means trusting in God. Again, that's trust, which is effectively faith, which means belief without evidence! You have trust/faith, sans evidence. How can you not understand that????
