Viking settlements in the UK

[image/video - please log in to see this content]

I have recently started to look more closely into the Vikings. Does anyone have viking ancestry or live in a place with a viking connection?

I would be very interested in hearing your stories and swapping notes.

@HotPizza71 Interesting history in that part of the country. Ive been to an event at Battle Abbey.

I once drove past Lewes Castle. Simon de Montfort held Henry III there. He was rescued by his son, the future Edward I.
