Viking settlements in the UK

[image/video - please log in to see this content]

I have recently started to look more closely into the Vikings. Does anyone have viking ancestry or live in a place with a viking connection?

I would be very interested in hearing your stories and swapping notes.

They worshipped pagans and wore animal heads in festivals but they were Norsemen, hoarding vikings and ruled the east side of the UK eventualy were as king Alfred of Wessex ruled the west side of the uk in an alliance with the vikings around the 800 year marker
