Viking settlements in the UK

I have recently started to look more closely into the Vikings. Does anyone have viking ancestry or live in a place with a viking connection?

I would be very interested in hearing your stories and swapping notes.

It’s a beautiful part of England, well worth a visit.

Bamburgh is lovely too not far from lindisfarne.

@Achelois Never saw Bamburgh. I drove up the East coast to Edinburgh once.

I'm trying to remember the places I've been. I was a coach driver for many years and travelled a lot. I'll think about it and get back to you.
