Do they still do civil war battle re-enactments in the US?

Over here you’ve got the English Civil war, war of the Roses, Battle of Hastings and so on.

But in the US that’s got to be more complicated. North verses the South - they’re the ones with no flags.

Europeans verses the Indians…but we aren’t allowed to dress up as the Indians.

I think they do Revolutionary War reenactments here too. Never understood it, myself, but I’ve never been to one. I hope they take time to honor those they’re pretending to be and reflect on the horrible deaths they had and why.

Yes. Drives the dogs nuts when the cannon start going off. And both the North and the South had flags.
Absolutely. Italian Americans who don't know the name of their own country back in 1860 put on the gear and celebrate the inability to bring slavery to a close by voting!
