More Galveston history

This is where the Galveston weather bureau was in 1900. In those days, Issac Cline the meteorologist had to get permission from Washington to even raise a storm flag and words like hurricane & tornado weren’t allowed because they thought it would panic everyone. Isaac had a feeling something bad was going to happen and if he had raised the hurricane flags a couple days sooner more lives would’ve been saved
