My foreign history is hazy. In the American civil war who was the goodies and who were the baddies?

I'm going with the baddies being the ones who were fighting to keep slavery in effect.
@ChipmunkErnie That sounds too simple, like a marvel plot.

@DazzaTheHutt sometimes it's simple. Do you agree with enslaving another human being against their will? It isn't rocket science, dude....😒
@Richard65 I take it you don’t like Romans either?

Dude.

@DazzaTheHutt are you smoking something? No, I would have hated the Romans, but we were a bit more educated in the humanities by the middle of the 19th Century, so it's a false equivalence and a piss poor attempt at justification.
Dude.

@DazzaTheHutt Sometimes identifying evil IS pretty simple.
@Richard65 So what about Brits, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Ottomans, Persians, Arabs and Algerians.

They all had slaves at the start of the 19 century. Do hate them?

Dude.

@Richard65 And so you hate the Native Americans, Black Africans, Asians, etc. who all also owned slaves? I guess you simply hate everyone, eh?
