I can’t see him being considered a hero unless history is heavily censored.
@PSuss1

Are you completely sure history is written by the winners? If so - why was the U.S. civil war fought? Both sides recognize at least 2 or more distinctly different reasons and have for over a century and a half.

@rinkydinkydoink the need to bring/keep a country together? ...or maybe just the exception that proves the rule?!
@PSuss1

At least the fighting/bloodshed is over. Maybe both your points are valid.
Heroes are selfless..

Get a grip, Trump is self serving

An unmitigated disaster and embarrassment to our nation.

Oh wait, that is true already... my bad.
He is the definition of domestic terrorism : "Acts dangerous to human life that violates criminal laws in the US or any state, with the intent to intimidate or coerce a civilian population or government policy." He IS a domestic terrorist.
A villain. Lord, I hope he is NOT "ahead of his time"!
@SomeMichGuy

You know how most people say things to the effect of: "You're alright in my book!" or: "In my book, you're no good!"

Well he's one of the one's in my book who's definitely no good.

He’s ahead of his time. So long as you consider his time to be the 1830s.
