Medieval peasants only worked around 150 days a year and the feudal lords were legally liable for the quality of their housing and medical care.

But sure we’re all free and better off now…

Many saints days or holidays (holy days) were left free for worship and relaxation. And wars excluding religious strife and uprisings only killed off the aristocracy and those in their pay. The rest of the country would go about its business.

And when you’re an English peasant and all the aristocracy getting their heads whacked in are Norman French, who cares?

There’s a recorded battle between the English and the Scots where a levy of commoners from both armies were ordered to charge each other, much to the anger of the lords of both sides, they met in the middle, drank ale and generally talked amongst themselves for a few hours.

Americans won't engage in politics. They're the work force and they don't own a country. Duh. So NATO is unstoppable - Americans are a fantasy workforce that will do anything and build WMDs that can kill us all with no requirements of the ownership.

@Roundandroundwego Here's the real problem
America is a violent country parading as a democracy and in the end
WE DO WHAT WE ARE TOLD

Free people are crushed under the wheel
Happened to me.. all I had was my freedom and I got crushed because of it

And we all act like politics is for those serious people over the pond
or we're above it all when the truth is its almost impossibly hard to negotiate through life (yes we have "religion" but later 4 that)

and without smart politics and a real grasp of things and not just reactionism

we are already back in the feudal age, hopeless and beaten
